Funky Frame Fanfare

This is a project I've been thinking about for years.  I bought the two large dark frames at Hudson's about 4 years ago with the plan to do something interesting with them and hang them in my home one day.  I'm really excited about how they're turning out.  The smaller frames are from the same estate auction I mentioned in this post.  The photos with the yellow leaves that pull in the yellow from our door table and metal table so well are from our engagement session with our wonderful neighbor, Robby.

The process of figuring out what goes where was fun.  The above pictures are the frames laid out on our floor.

Here's the finished (for now) product:

We see this as being a constant work in progress.  We plan to add more pictures, frames, and other pieces of art as we find them.  I also plan to distress the big frames and paint or cover the top right frame.  I love the way this project is coming together.
